Posterior Quadrant Dentistry
With Dr Lincoln Harris

Hands-On Course in Sydney

As we all know,  the workhorse of general dental practice, is treating toothache, caries, cracks and fracture, predominantly in posterior teeth.

You will be amazed at how much your efficiency increases by using the quadrant technique, because all the teeth that need treating in one entire quadrant, are done in the same appointment instead of treating single teeth over several visits.

The advantages are numerous.

  • Time-saving use of local anaesthetic in an entire area
  • Reduced setup time
  • Reduced infection control change over
  • Greater comfort for the patient
  • More convenient scheduling for both patient and practice
  • Generates higher hourly rates for the dentist

In this course, Dr Lincoln Harris will show you how to treat a quadrant of teeth efficiently, effectively and in a way that is practical, possible and profitable in general practice.

Lectures will be delivered online, you will have will be available. This will give you the understanding and theory behind the Hands-On course.

Hands-On: Exercises

  • Prep multiple class two cavities direct in one quadrant
  • Prep multiple onlays and crowns in one quadrant
  • Prep using the Vertical and Margin Techniques
  • Simultaneous build up multiple cores and multiple composite restorations with matrices
  • Create multiple temporary restorations in one quadrant
  • Bonding restorations and ceramic onlays - A step by step protocol

What our customers are saying:

After attending a lot of courses on composites and 7 years of clinical experience, I thought I had learnt everything about composites. Dr Lincoln and Dr Pasquale made me realise it’s just the beginning.

Dr Arvind Chawla

Lincoln is a very good hands-on teacher. He makes it very easy to understand techniques and ensures we know why we are doing it a certain way which makes it easier to remember.

Dr Arun Gnanachelvan

Dr Lincoln is excellent. Full of little tips and tricks that’ll make a big difference. It also helped being pushed to get as much as possible out of the course

Dr Oliver Ward

I couldn't recommend the course more highly, wealth of knowledge gained and the hands-on component put my clinical skills and abilities to the test and helped me grow and improve beyond my expectations for a 2 day practical course.

Dr Kristina Hurrell

Thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on course. There’s a lot of common sense here that really should be taught at dental school.

Dr Kathryn Burns

I wish I had taken this course earlier. Before the hands-on course, I was already implementing things I had learnt from the online lecture content.

Dr Rohit Chaturvedi

Dr Lincoln Harris founder of Restoring Excellence and RIPE with a focus on excellence. His pursuit of excellence permeates everything he does. He is a full-time clinician in private practice and understands the pressures and stresses that dentists face in clinical, administration and business situations.

As a teacher, Dr Harris is unique in his strong belief about the importance of learning from and sharing his own failures. Even though poor clinical outcomes are disappointing, he sees great value in them as opportunities for what can be learned and taught. Instead of sweeping them under the rug, his view is that the meticulous documentation of these cases with photos and/or video makes it possible to wring every possible benefit from that other great teacher – Hindsight.
